| July 01, 2007 | | Overture announced today that La Universidad Central Del Este located in the Dominican Republic has chosen Overture’s Payment Planner software to guide their students through the financial aid process with HESC’s support. | This is the first Spanish
speaking university that Overture will implement.
With Payment Planner, La Universidad Central Del Este will be able to offer a customizable
page targeted specifically to different student populations, rendering individualized award
letters. The award letter presents official awards electronically to students with clickable
explanations of all financial aid terms, and thus reducing mailing costs. It also enables
students to accept and/or decline awards with a single click. The software also provides
assistance to families exploring various methods of funding the cost of education and expected
family contributions.
